Anomalon ejuncidum
Anomalon ejuncidum is a species of ichneumonid wasp in the genus Anomalon. The species was described by Thomas Say in 1835 and is currently recognized as valid. Members of the genus Anomalon are generally parasitoid wasps, though specific host associations for A. ejuncidum remain poorly documented. The species has been recorded from Brazil.
Ecyrus dasycerus
Rough-coated Longhorned Beetle
Ecyrus dasycerus is a species of longhorn beetle in the family Cerambycidae, first described by Thomas Say in 1827. It is known from North America, with records from the United States and Mexico. The species exhibits two recognized subspecies: the nominate E. d. dasycerus and E. d. floridanus described by Linsley in 1935. Like other members of the subfamily Lamiinae, it is a wood-associated beetle whose larvae develop in dead or dying woody plants.

Huron River Leafhopper
Flexamia huroni is a leafhopper species in the family Cicadellidae, described by Bess & Hamilton in 1999. It belongs to the genus Flexamia, a group of leafhoppers known for their specialized host plant associations with grasses. The species is named after the Huron River in Michigan, where it was first collected. Like other members of the genus, it likely exhibits strong ecological dependence on specific grass host plants.

zonaria
A species of braconid wasp in the subfamily Microgastrinae, redescribed and redelimited in a 2015 taxonomic review of the genus Hypomicrogaster. Originally described by Say in 1836, it is one of the four previously named species in the genus. Like other members of Hypomicrogaster, it is a parasitoid wasp, though specific host records for this species remain unconfirmed in available literature.
Liodessus
Liodessus is a genus of small diving beetles in the family Dytiscidae, tribe Bidessini. Species occur across the Americas from North America through the Andes to southern South America, with notable diversity in high-altitude wetlands and páramo ecosystems. Many species inhabit shallow, exposed pools and temporary water bodies, showing phenotypic plasticity in body form correlated with habitat permanence. The genus contains numerous species, with several new species described from the high Andes of Peru and Colombia in recent years. Taxonomic resolution relies heavily on male genital morphology.

Melanoplus davisi is a species of spur-throated grasshopper in the family Acrididae, described by Hebard in 1918 from the southeastern United States. It belongs to the large genus Melanoplus, which contains numerous economically and ecologically significant grasshopper species. The species appears to be relatively poorly documented in the primary grasshopper literature of the western United States, suggesting it may be of limited distribution or abundance compared to more widespread Melanoplus species.

facetus
Urgleptes facetus is a species of longhorn beetle in the family Cerambycidae, described by Thomas Say in 1827. The species belongs to the subfamily Lamiinae and tribe Acanthocinini. It is distributed across parts of eastern North America, with records from Canada (Ontario, Québec) and the United States. Like other members of the genus Urgleptes, this is a small to medium-sized cerambycid beetle.
Xylotrechus annosus
Grizzled Zebra Borer
Xylotrechus annosus is a species of longhorned beetle in the family Cerambycidae, tribe Clytini. It was originally described as Clytus annosus by Thomas Say in 1826. The species is known from North America, with records from Canada and the United States. As a member of the Clytini, it belongs to a group of cerambycids commonly known as 'zebra borers' or 'tiger beetles' within the family, characterized by banded or mottled color patterns.
Yakuhananomia bidentata
Two-toothed Tumbling Flower Beetle
Yakuhananomia bidentata is a species of tumbling flower beetle in the family Mordellidae, first described by Thomas Say in 1824. It is one of the most frequently observed members of its family in eastern North America, with over 200 citizen science records. The common name refers to diagnostic morphological features of the species. Like other mordellid beetles, it exhibits the characteristic 'tumbling' escape behavior when disturbed.
