Bucculatrix insolita
Bucculatrix insolita is a species of ribbed cocoon-making moth in the family Bucculatricidae. It was described by Annette Frances Braun in 1918 and is known from California, North America. Like other members of its genus, it is a small moth with distinctive larval habits.
Melanoplus davisi
Melanoplus davisi is a species of spur-throated grasshopper in the family Acrididae, described by Hebard in 1918 from the southeastern United States. It belongs to the large genus Melanoplus, which contains numerous economically and ecologically significant grasshopper species. The species appears to be relatively poorly documented in the primary grasshopper literature of the western United States, suggesting it may be of limited distribution or abundance compared to more widespread Melanoplus species.

flavida
Phyllolabis flavida is a species of crane fly in the family Limoniidae, described by Charles Paul Alexander in 1918. It is a member of the genus Phyllolabis, which belongs to the subfamily Limnophilinae. The species is known from California, USA, and is part of the Nearctic fauna. Very little specific biological information has been published for this species.
Prorella
Prorella is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae, subfamily Larentiinae. It was erected by William Barnes and James Halliday McDunnough in 1918. The genus contains approximately 15 described species distributed in North America. Species were described between 1882 and 1949 by various lepidopterists including Grote, Hulst, Grossbeck, and McDunnough.
