Agathis

Agathis is a genus of evergreen coniferous trees comprising approximately 22 species, commonly known as kauri or dammar. The genus belongs to the ancient family Araucariaceae, which was widespread during the Jurassic period but is now largely restricted to the Southern Hemisphere. Agathis species are characterized by large trunks with minimal lower branching, broad leathery leaves, and commercially valuable timber and resins. The genus is most diverse in Malesia and Australasia, with some species reaching substantial sizes and great age.

Anthribinae is a subfamily of fungus weevils within the family Anthribidae. The subfamily contains over 50 genera and more than 80 described species. Members are distributed across multiple biogeographic regions including the Neotropics, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, and North America. Taxonomic revisions have significantly expanded known diversity in some regions, with New Caledonian fauna increasing from 14 to 56 species.

Ecnomidae is a family of caddisflies (Trichoptera) comprising approximately 375–400 described species across 9 genera. The family exhibits a characteristic Gondwanan distribution pattern, with all genera restricted to the Southern Hemisphere except Ecnomus, which is also widespread in the Palearctic and Oriental regions. Larvae are aquatic and construct fixed silk retreats on submerged surfaces. The family's taxonomy has been historically unstable, having been classified as a subfamily of both Hydropsychidae and Psychomiidae before recognition as a monophyletic family closely related to Polycentropodidae.
Selenomorphini
Selenomorphini is a small tribe of leafhoppers in the family Cicadellidae, subfamily Iassinae. It was established by Evans in 1974 and currently comprises at least six genera including Pachyopsis, Scaroidana, Parapachyopsis, and Uhleriana. The tribe exhibits a disjunct biogeographic pattern, with species occurring in the New World and New Caledonia. Recent taxonomic work has focused on Brazilian fauna, describing new species and genera and providing detailed morphological redescriptions including first illustrations of female genitalia.
