Amorbia synneurana is a synonym of Amorbia cuneana (Walsingham), commonly known as the western avocado leafroller moth. The name was proposed by Barnes & Busck in 1920 but was synonymized with A. cuneana in the 2007 revision of the Amorbia. No biological data specific to A. synneurana as a distinct entity exists; records under this name refer to A. cuneana.
