Neocochylis is a of tortricid moths established by Razowski in 1960. Current taxonomic treatment recognizes it as a synonym of Cochylis, a genus within the Tortricinae. historically placed in Neocochylis are now generally classified under Cochylis. The group is represented in northern Europe and North America based on occurrence records.

Identification

Historical separation from Cochylis relied on genitalic characters, particularly features of the male valva and female sterigma. These distinctions are no longer considered valid at the generic level, and previously assigned to Neocochylis are now identified using Cochylis-level characters.
