Arcola is a of snout moths (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) in the Phycitinae, described by Shaffer in 1995. The genus includes associated with aquatic vegetation, most notably Arcola malloi (Alligatorweed Stem Borer), which has been employed as a agent for the aquatic weed alligatorweed (Alternanthera philoxeroides) in the United States. The genus belongs to a diverse group of pyralid moths whose larvae typically feed on plant material.
