Caccoplectus
Caccoplectus is a genus of myrmecophilous (ant-loving) rove beetles in the family Staphylinidae, subfamily Pselaphinae. The genus was established by Sharp in 1887 and contains approximately nine described species. These beetles are associated with ant colonies, a common ecological strategy among pselaphine beetles. Most species have been described from the Neotropical region, particularly Central America.

Colaspis flavocostata is a leaf beetle in the family Chrysomelidae, first described by C.F.A. Schaeffer in 1933. It is restricted to coastal southeastern United States, with records from Mississippi through Florida to South Carolina. The species includes two recognized subspecies: C. f. flavocostata and C. f. avaloni.
Neofidia texana
Neofidia texana is a leaf beetle in the family Chrysomelidae, restricted to central and east-central Texas. It was originally described in 1934 by Charles Frederic August Schaeffer as a variety of Fidia viticida, but is now recognized as a distinct species. The species is associated with plants in the grape family (Vitaceae).
Panscopus alternatus
A weevil species in the family Curculionidae, described by Schaeffer in 1908. Records indicate presence in the southeastern United States. The genus Panscopus belongs to the tribe Byrsopagini within the subfamily Entiminae.
