Ciini
Ciini is a tribe of minute beetles within the family Ciidae, commonly known as minute tree-fungus beetles. The tribe contains at least 30 genera and was established by Leach in 1819. Members are small, mycophagous beetles associated with fungal growth on wood.
Cyrtinus
Cyrtinus is a genus of minute longhorn beetles (Cerambycidae: Lamiinae) comprising approximately 30 described species distributed across the Americas. The genus is notable for containing some of the smallest members of the family, with adults of certain species measuring only 2–3 millimeters in length. Species occur in eastern North America, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. The type species, Cyrtinus pygmaeus, is among the smallest North American cerambycids and exhibits effective ant mimicry.
Dinaraea aequata
Dinaraea aequata is a small rove beetle (2.5–3.7 mm) in the subfamily Aleocharinae, native to Europe and parts of Asia. It is saproxylic, inhabiting subcortical galleries of decaying wood and fungal fruiting bodies. The species was among the first in its genus to have its larval morphology and life history described in detail, including all three instars, prepupa, and pupal cocoon.
Monoedus
Monoedus is a genus of cylindrical bark beetles in the family Zopheridae. It contains approximately eight described species distributed primarily in the Neotropical region. The genus was established by G.H. Horn in 1882 and is currently classified within the tribe Adimerini, subfamily Colydiinae. Species in this genus are characterized by their elongated, cylindrical body form typical of many colydiine beetles.
Philothermus floridensis
Philothermus floridensis is a species of minute bark beetle in the family Cerylonidae, first described from Florida in 1973. Members of the genus Philothermus are small, inconspicuous beetles associated with dead wood and bark habitats. The species epithet "floridensis" indicates its type locality in Florida.
