Blethisa multipunctata is a ground beetle species found along freshwater margins in Europe and parts of North America. It exhibits a rare amphibious lifestyle among carabid beetles, hunting both on land and underwater for extended periods. The species has been observed diving voluntarily and remaining submerged for up to 97 minutes without surfacing for air.

Desmona bethula, commonly known as the amphibious caddisfly, is a species of northern caddisfly in the family Limnephilidae. It is notable for its unusual terrestrial feeding migration behavior, in which fifth-instar larvae leave streams at night to feed on semiaquatic plants before returning to the water. This species is univoltine with autumn emergence and has been proposed as a potential evolutionary link between aquatic and secondarily terrestrial caddisfly lineages.
Styloniscidae
Styloniscidae is a family of terrestrial isopods (woodlice) within the suborder Oniscidea. The family comprises at least twelve genera distributed across tropical and subtropical regions, with exceptional diversity documented in Brazilian karst systems. Multiple genera contain troglobitic (exclusively cave-dwelling) species, including Xangoniscus, Cylindroniscus, Pectenoniscus, and Chaimowiczia. These cave-dwelling representatives exhibit classic troglomorphic traits: anophthalmy (eye loss), depigmentation, and elongated appendages.
