Aegomorphus modestus

Aegomorphus modestus is a of longhorn beetle in the Cerambycidae, Lamiinae. First described by Gyllenhal in 1817, it is one of numerous species in the Aegomorphus distributed across North America. The species has been documented in field studies using ethanol-red wine baited traps in xeric dolomite prairie remnants of Missouri, where it was captured alongside other cerambycids including Neoclytus scutellatus, Eburia quadrigeminata, and Xylotrechus colonus.
