Toxares
Toxares is a genus of parasitoid wasps in the family Braconidae, subfamily Aphidiinae. The genus was established by Haliday in 1840. At least one species, T. deltiger, has been documented as a parasitoid of cereal aphids, with records from southern England and Finland indicating a Palearctic distribution.
Trichomma maceratum
Trichomma maceratum is a species of parasitoid wasp in the family Ichneumonidae, first described by Cresson in 1879. The genus Trichomma belongs to the ichneumonid subfamily Pimplinae, a group characterized by ectoparasitic larvae that develop on hosts concealed in plant material or soil. This species has been recorded in western and central Canada, with observations spanning prairie and agricultural habitats. Very little is known about its biology, host associations, or ecological role.
Vatiga
cassava lace bugs
Vatiga is a genus of lace bugs (family Tingidae) containing approximately 11 described species. The genus is native to the Neotropical region and has become economically significant as an invasive pest in cassava-growing regions worldwide. Species in this genus are highly host-specific, feeding exclusively on cassava (Manihot esculenta). The most extensively studied species are Vatiga illudens and Vatiga manihotae, which have been introduced to Indonesia and Africa, posing threats to food security in these regions.
Xystrologa grenadella
Xystrologa grenadella is a small moth in the family Tineidae. It has been documented as an invasive pest in greenhouse environments in southern Florida, USA and Germany. The species is native to the West Indies, with type locality in Grenada.
