Saphenista bartellae is a small tortricid described in 2019. The occurs in two disjunct : a coastal California population found at low elevations, and a montane population ranging from British Columbia through the Sierra Nevada to the Rocky Mountains. fly in mid-summer at high elevations but in autumn along the coast. The species is known from relatively few collections.
