Epiblema iowana is a small described by James Halliday McDunnough in 1935. It belongs to the moth Tortricidae, a large group known for that roll or fold leaves for shelter. The Epiblema contains numerous small, often inconspicuous species that can be challenging to identify. Very few documented observations of this species exist, with only four records in iNaturalist as of the knowledge cutoff.
