Ancyloxypha is a of small in the Hesperiidae, Hesperiinae. The genus contains approximately seven described distributed primarily in the Americas. The most widely known species is Ancyloxypha numitor, commonly called the least skipper or least skipperling. Members of this genus are characterized by their diminutive size and delicate pattern. The genus was established by Felder in 1862.
