Described include: Scolecocampa atriluna (Smith, 1903), S. atrosignata (Walker, 1858), S. liburna (Geyer, 1837), S. pilosa (Schaus, 1914), S. porrecta (Walker, 1865), S. tessellata (Hampson, 1926), and S. tripuncta (Schaus, 1901). The species S. mochisa was documented in Morelos, Mexico in a 2015 publication.
