1- Autosticha kyotensis(Kyoto moth)
Autosticha is a of small gelechioid moths in the Autostichidae (sometimes placed in Oecophoridae). It is the type genus of the Autostichinae and family Autostichidae. The genus has a complex taxonomic history, with several formerly independent genera now synonymized under it, and some historically assigned to unrelated gelechioid families such as Lecithoceridae and Xyloryctidae. The genus was originally described as Automola in 1886, but this name was preoccupied by a dipteran genus.

Identification
Distinguished from similar by the combination of forewing venation (R2 and R3 sharing a common stalk) and the distinctive labial palp structure—tapering from segment two to a pointed apex. Some have been confused with long-horned moths (Lecithoceridae) or Xyloryctidae in historical treatments, requiring careful examination of genitalia and wing venation for correct assignment.

Taxonomic instability
The placement of Autostichinae remains unsettled, with some authorities placing it in Oecophoridae and others recognizing a separate Autostichidae. The itself has absorbed multiple former genera, and -level remains under revision.
