Dalmannia blaisdelli

Dalmannia blaisdelli is a species of thick-headed fly in the family Conopidae, first described by Cresson in 1919. It belongs to the subfamily Dalmanniinae, a group characterized by their distinctive head morphology. Like other conopids, this species is likely parasitoid, though specific host associations for D. blaisdelli remain poorly documented. The species is part of a genus containing multiple North American species.
