Liriomyza violivora is a leaf-mining fly in the Agromyzidae, originally described by Spencer in 1986 under the Galiomyza before being transferred to Liriomyza. As a member of this genus, it is a small dipteran whose larvae create mines within leaf tissue. The has been documented in the northeastern United States, specifically Vermont.
