Leptomorphus hyalinus is a of fungus gnat in the Mycetophilidae, tribe Sciophilini. It was described by Coquillett in 1901. A 2012 taxonomic revision synonymized Leptomorphus ypsilon Johannsen with L. hyalinus. The species is one of 37 valid species in a -level revision that brought the total extant species of Leptomorphus to 45.
