Exoprosopini is a large tribe of bee flies within the Bombyliidae, comprising more than 20 and over 760 described globally. The tribe represents a significant evolutionary radiation, particularly in semi-arid Australia where multiple genera and species have diversified. Phylogenetic studies have reorganized generic boundaries, establishing six major clades and describing numerous new genera and species from Australian fauna.
