Diplotaxis puberula is a of scarab beetle in the Scarabaeidae, first described by LeConte in 1863. It is distributed across parts of North and Central America, with records from Texas in the United States and the Mexican states of Nuevo León and Tamaulipas. The species belongs to the (Melolonthinae), a diverse whose larvae typically develop in soil and feed on roots.
