Adenosejus is a genus of mites in the family Sejidae, order Mesostigmata. It was described in 2004 by Lekveishvili and Krantz. The genus belongs to the cohort Sejina, a group of large, heavily sclerotized mites often associated with soil and decomposing organic matter. As a recently described genus with limited subsequent study, its biology and ecology remain poorly documented.
Euplastius
A genus of click beetles (Elateridae) described by Schwarz in 1903. The taxonomic status is currently marked as doubtful, indicating uncertainty about its validity as a distinct genus. Limited information is available about its constituent species and biology.
Lobometopon fusiforme
Lobometopon fusiforme is a species of darkling beetle in the family Tenebrionidae. It was originally described by Casey in 1890 under the genus Epitragus and later transferred to Lobometopon. The species is known from Mexico and is represented by a small number of observations. Its taxonomic status is marked as doubtful in some databases, suggesting potential issues with classification or identification.
Lycaena dorcas claytoni
Clayton's Copper
Lycaena dorcas claytoni is a subspecies of copper butterfly in the family Lycaenidae. It belongs to the dorcas copper complex, a group of closely related taxa distributed across North America. The subspecies was described by A.E. Brower in 1940. Like other members of the genus Epidemia (formerly placed in Lycaena), this taxon is associated with wetland habitats and larval host plants in the genus Polygonum.
Malthodes fuliginosus
Malthodes fuliginosus is a species of soldier beetle in the family Cantharidae, first described by John Lawrence LeConte in 1866. The genus Malthodes is characterized by small body size and reduced elytra that leave much of the abdomen exposed. This species occurs in North America, though its specific biology remains poorly documented in the scientific literature.
Neonympha helicta
Helicta Satyr
Neonympha helicta, known as the Helicta Satyr, is a brush-footed butterfly in the family Nymphalidae. The species is found in North America and has a doubtful taxonomic status according to GBIF. It was originally described by Jacob Hübner in 1808 as Oreas helicta. Three subspecies are recognized: N. h. helicta, N. h. dadeensis, and N. h. septentrionalis.
Paracraspedothrix
Paracraspedothrix is a genus of tachinid flies (Diptera: Tachinidae) described by Villeneuve in 1920. The genus contains two described species: Paracraspedothrix angulicornis and Paracraspedothrix montivaga. Its taxonomic status is marked as doubtful in some databases, and it has been treated as a synonym in Catalogue of Life. Records indicate presence in Scandinavia.
Passandrophloeus
Passandrophloeus is a genus of small beetles in the family Laemophloeidae, established by Kessel in 1921. The genus contains five described species, all described by Grouvelle: P. belli, P. ditomoides, P. falcidens, P. glabriculus, and P. spinosus. The genus is currently listed as taxonomically doubtful in some databases, indicating potential issues with its circumscription or validity relative to related genera. Members of Laemophloeidae are generally associated with dead wood and fungal habitats.
