Eulithis molliculata, commonly known as the Dimorphic Eulithis Moth, is a geometrid moth in the subfamily Larentiinae. The species is found throughout North America. Its larvae feed on common ninebark (Physocarpus opulifolius), a native shrub. The common name 'dimorphic' refers to distinct color variations in adult specimens.

Hypena bijugalis, commonly known as the Dimorphic Snout, is a moth species in the family Erebidae, subfamily Hypeninae. It occurs across southern Canada from Nova Scotia to Vancouver Island, and throughout the United States to Florida. The species exhibits sexual dimorphism, with distinct differences in appearance between males and females. It is a nocturnal species attracted to light sources.

Pheidole californica is a species of big-headed ant in the genus Pheidole, characterized by the presence of dimorphic worker castes including small workers and large-headed soldiers. The species belongs to the diverse myrmicine ant fauna of western North America. Like other Pheidole species, it exhibits the classic soldier-worker caste system where soldiers possess disproportionately enlarged heads and mandibles used for defense and food processing. The species was described by Mayr in 1870 and includes two recognized subspecies: P. c. californica and P. c. oregonica.
