Lea floridensis is the sole in the Lea, a true katydid in the Tettigoniidae. It is native to the southeastern United States, with records from Florida and Georgia. As a member of the Pseudophyllinae, it belongs to a group known for leaf-mimicking appearance and stridulatory sound production. The species was described by Beutenmüller in 1903.
