Buckellacris is a of spur-throated grasshoppers in the Acrididae, established by Rehn & Rehn in 1945. The genus contains at least three described distributed in western North America. Members belong to the tribe Podismini within the Melanoplinae. One species, Buckellacris nuda, is commonly known as Buckell's timberline .
