Barytettix humphreysii, commonly known as Humphrey's , is a of -throated grasshopper in the . It is distributed across the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexico. The species belongs to the Melanoplinae and is characterized by the presence of a spur on the surface of the throat, a diagnostic feature of its group. Two are recognized: B. h. humphreysii and B. h. cochisei.
