Hesperopsis is a of skippers (Hesperiidae) comprising three recognized : H. alpheus, H. gracielae, and H. libya. The genus is placed in Pyrginae. Species within this genus are associated with arid and semi-arid riparian in western North America. H. gracielae has been relatively well studied in the context of its plant relationships and distribution along the lower Colorado River floodplain.
