Catabenoides is a of owlet moths (Noctuidae) established in 2002 by Poole. The genus was created to accommodate five previously placed in Catabena and has since expanded to 14 recognized species. It is a New World genus with a distribution spanning arid and semi-arid regions from the southern United States through Mexico to South America.
