Emarginea percara, commonly known as the Beloved Emarginea , is a found in North America. The species was first described by Herbert Knowles Morrison in 1875, originally placed in the Bryophila before being moved to the genus Emarginea, which Morrison also established. It is assigned Hodges number 9718 in the North moth numbering system. The species is relatively well-documented, with over 2,600 observations on citizen science platforms.
