Tetanolita is a of litter moths in the Herminiinae of the Erebidae. The genus was established by Grote in 1873. One , Tetanolita mynesalis (the smoky tetanolita), has been documented as a prey item of the American bolas spider (Mastophora hutchinsoni), which chemically mimics the female of this to attract males. The genus contains multiple species, though many aspects of their remain poorly documented.
