Marmopteryx is a of in the Geometridae, established by Packard in 1874. The genus is currently considered a synonym of Stamnodes, with its type Marmopteryx morrisata (Hulst, 1887) now placed as Stamnoctenis morrisata. The genus is known from a single species originally described from the northeastern United States.
