Heterophleps is a of geometer moths in the Geometridae, Larentiinae, established by Herrich-Schäffer in 1854. The genus contains nine described distributed across North America and Asia, with records from the United States and China. One species, Heterophleps inusitata, is known from a single locality in western Yunnan and has been described as extremely rare. The genus belongs to a diverse group of small to medium-sized commonly known as carpet moths or pug moths.
