Sriferia is a of small in the Gelechiidae, established by Hodges in 1966. The genus contains three described : S. cockerella, S. fulmenella, and S. oxymeris. All three species were originally described under other genera and later transferred to Sriferia. Like other gelechiids, these are likely small, slender moths with narrow wings.

Distinguishing Sriferia from other Gelechiidae requires examination of genitalia and wing venation patterns; the genus is not reliably separable from related genera by external appearance alone.
