Identification
Distinguished from similar Sriferia by the specific pattern of white fasciae on dark forewings: a bold oblique central fascia with uneven edges and a zigzag fascia formed by connected costal and spots. The 15 mm wingspan and combination of these markings separate it from with simpler or differently arranged white markings.
Appearance
Wingspan approximately 15 mm. Forewings blackish brown with a bold oblique white fascia across the middle of the wing and a zigzag white fascia across the part. The central fascia is positioned nearest the base on the costal edge with uneven edges, particularly the outer edge. The apical fascia begins as a broad white costal spot at the apical fifth, connected to a broad oblique spot by an outwardly oblique narrower white streak. A few white present around the apical edge. Hindwings light fuscous.
Distribution
