Nomia nortoni is a of sweat bee in the Halictidae, commonly known as Norton's alkali or Norton's nomium. It is native to Central America and North America. The species has two recognized : N. n. cressoni and N. n. nortoni. As a member of the Nomia, it is related to other alkali bees that are known for their ground-nesting in alkaline soils.
