Saldula pallipes is a shore bug in the Saldidae with a remarkably broad global distribution spanning six continents. The was first described by Fabricius in 1794 and has since been recorded across Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, Northern Asia (excluding China), Central America, North America, and South America. Two are recognized: S. pallipes pallipes (the nominate subspecies) and S. pallipes dimidiata. Despite its wide geographic range, detailed ecological and behavioral studies remain limited.
