Neurocolpus nubilus is a of plant bug in the Miridae, commonly known as the clouded plant bug. It is distributed across North America, with records from Canada and multiple U.S. states. The species feeds on a variety of herbaceous plants and has been documented on agricultural crops as well as native vegetation.

North America, including Canada (Ontario, Quebec, Vermont-border region) and the United States (Arkansas, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, New York, Ohio, West Virginia, and additional states).

Diet

Feeds on a variety of plants including cotton (Gossypium), alfalfa (Medicago sativa), soybean (Glycine max), and various of clover (Trifolium), nettle (Urtica), burdock (Arctium), and milkweed (Asclepias).

Human Relevance

Documented as a pest on agricultural crops including cotton, alfalfa, and soybeans.
