Myxosargus fasciatus is a of soldier fly in the Stratiomyidae. The species was described by Brauer in 1882. It is distributed across parts of North and Central America. Like other members of the Myxosargus, it belongs to the tribe Prosopochrysini within the Stratiomyinae.
