Drepanoglossa is a of tachinid flies established by Townsend in 1891. The genus contains at least three described , all flies that develop within other insects. These bristle flies are part of the diverse Tachinidae , one of the largest families of Diptera. The genus name derives from Greek roots suggesting a hooked or sickle-shaped tongue or mouthpart structure.
