Tenebrionini is a tribe of darkling beetles (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae) established by Latreille in 1802. The tribe contains approximately six and eight described . Members of this tribe are distributed across the Holarctic Region. The tribe includes the genus Neatus, for which a key to Holarctic species has been developed based on morphological characters including structure.

Habitat

Old oak (Quercus) ; at least some associated with hollow broadleaved deciduous trees. The new species Neatus turcicus was collected from old oaks in southern Türkiye during the Turkish Oak Habitat Project.

Distribution

Holarctic Region. Documented from southern Türkiye (provinces of Adana, Isparta, Konya, Mersin), with N. noctivagus newly recorded for Greece and Türkiye.
