Eutheia is a of minute rove beetles in the tribe Eutheiini, Scydmaeninae. It is distributed across the Holarctic and Neotropical regions, with the majority of occurring in the Palaearctic. The genus shows a strong preference for temperate climates and is typically found in high mountain environments in tropical regions. Recent discoveries in the sub-Himalayan region of Pakistan, Nepal, and India have expanded the known range in Central and South Asia.

Habitat
Forested sub-Himalayan regions with subtropical highland climate; high mountains in the Neotropics and Taiwan; temperate climates generally. The is not expected to occur far south of the mountain arc formed by the Himalayas, Karakoram, and Hindu Kush.

Holarctic and Neotropical regions, with majority of in the Palaearctic. Documented from: Russian Far East, China, Taiwan, Japan, Nepal (Himalayas), Pakistan (sub-Himalayan region), and Uttarakhand in northern India. GBIF records indicate presence in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.
