Coscinocephalus is a of rhinoceros beetles in the Scarabaeidae, established by Prell in 1936. The genus comprises at least two described : Coscinocephalus cribrifrons, described by Schaeffer in 1906, and Coscinocephalus tepehuanus, described by Morón & Ratcliffe in 1996. Members of this genus belong to the Dynastinae and tribe Pentodontini, placing them among the smaller rhinoceros beetles.
