Cymbiodyta vindicata is a of water scavenger beetle in the Hydrophilidae. It is found across much of North America, with records from Canada and the United States. A neotype has been designated for this species. The Cymbiodyta was revised in 1974, recognizing 29 species including C. vindicata.
