Taxonomic note

The name Denticollis has been used in different taxonomic contexts. A 2020 study uses Phloeostichus denticollis for a rare saproxylic in Phloeostichidae, which is unrelated to the elaterid Denticollis. Ischnura denticollis is an unrelated (family Coenagrionidae).
