Patrobini is a tribe of ground beetles (Carabidae) established by Kirby in 1837. Members include subtribe Deltomerodina, which contains such as Deltomerodes characterized by slender medium-sized bodies (8.5–12.0 mm), dorsally pubescent , and distinctive genitalia . The tribe occurs in alpine and high-elevation across the Himalayas and adjacent regions.

Habitat

Alpine environments at high elevations. Type localities for included documented above 4200 m in Xizang, China. Specimens collected under stones or by pitfall traps.

Distribution

China (Yunnan, Sichuan, Xizang/Tibet), Nepal, India (Sikkim). Within China: Yulongxueshan and Habaxueshan in Yunnan; Zhuotala and Cholashan in Sichuan; Mêdog County, Cona County, Serkyimla, and Gangdisêshan in Xizang.

Behavior

Specimens have been collected under stones or by pitfall traps.
