Nebria schwarzi is a of ground beetle in the Carabidae, first described by Van Dyke in 1925. The species is to western North America, with two recognized : the nominate form N. s. schwarzi found in Alberta and British Columbia, and N. s. beverlianna restricted to Wyoming. Like other members of the Nebria, it is commonly referred to as a 'gazelle ' due to its characteristic rapid running .
