Theromaster brunneus is a of armoured harvestman (order Opiliones, suborder Laniatores) in the Cladonychiidae. It was described by Nathan Banks in 1902. The species is known from North America and belongs to a group of harvestmen characterized by heavily sclerotized body armor. Like other laniatorean harvestmen, it possesses relatively short legs compared to the long-legged harvestmen of the suborder Cyphophthalmi and Eupnoi.
