Aplanusiella utahensis
Aplanusiella utahensis is a species of leafhopper in the family Cicadellidae, subfamily Deltocephalinae, described by Nielson and Haws in 1992. It is endemic to Utah, as indicated by its specific epithet and confirmed distribution records. As a member of the tribe Platymetopiini, it belongs to a group of leafhoppers typically associated with grassland and shrubland habitats.
Cryptoscatomaseter utopensis
Cryptoscatomaseter utopensis is a small scarab beetle in the subfamily Aphodiinae, described from Utah in 2006. The genus Cryptoscatomaseter was established to accommodate species previously misplaced in related genera. This species is known only from the type locality in Utah and represents one of the few documented members of this genus in North America. It belongs to a group of dung beetles often associated with rodent burrows and subterranean environments.
Sympistis jocelynae
Sympistis jocelynae is a noctuid moth described in 2008 from a single county in Utah. It is known from only two observations and remains poorly documented. The species is characterized by its moderate wingspan and late-season adult activity.
