Bregmatothrips
Bregmatothrips is a genus of thrips in the family Thripidae, subfamily Thripinae, established by Hood in 1912. Species within this genus have been documented from the Irano-Turkmenian region, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey. Two species, B. bournieri and B. dimorphus, have been recorded from cultivated plants including medicinal and aromatic crops and cereals. The genus is characterized by morphological features typical of the Thripinae, though specific diagnostic traits require examination of type material.
Collinsia
Blue-eyed Marys, Chinese houses
Collinsia is a genus of approximately 20 species of annual herbaceous flowering plants in the family Plantaginaceae. The genus includes two informal groups: the blue-eyed Marys and the Chinese houses. Species are endemic to North America, with particularly high diversity in California. The genus was historically classified in Scrophulariaceae but reassigned to Plantaginaceae based on molecular genetic research. Collinsia species are winter annuals that germinate with winter rains and complete their life cycle within a single growing season.
Phaleria
Mahkota Dewa (for P. macrocarpa)
Phaleria is a genus of approximately 25 species of flowering plants in the family Thymelaeaceae. Species range from Sri Lanka through Malesia, Papuasia, northern and eastern Australia, and islands of the western Pacific. The genus is valued for medicinal applications, with Phaleria macrocarpa particularly noted for producing agarwood and containing bioactive compounds with hepatoprotective, anti-inflammatory, and anti-proliferative properties. Phaleria nisidai holds traditional importance in Palau as a medicinal panacea.
