Agrilus catalinae
Agrilus catalinae is a species of metallic woodboring beetle (family Buprestidae) described by Josef N. Knull in 1940. As a member of the hyperdiverse genus Agrilus, which contains nearly 4,000 described species, this beetle is part of the largest genus in the animal kingdom. Like most Agrilus species, it is presumed to be a twig or branch borer in woody plants, though specific biological details remain poorly documented. The species epithet 'catalinae' likely refers to Santa Catalina Mountains in Arizona, suggesting a southwestern U.S. origin for the type specimen.
Pediopsoides davisi
Pediopsoides davisi is a species of leafhopper in the family Cicadellidae, described by Knull in 1940. It belongs to the subfamily Megophthalminae and tribe Pediopsoidini. The genus Pediopsoides comprises small leafhoppers often associated with woody vegetation. Available records indicate this species occurs in Texas.
Spectralia cuprescens
Spectralia cuprescens is a species of metallic wood-boring beetle in the family Buprestidae, originally described by Knull in 1940. The species is known from North America, with records from the southwestern United States including Arizona. Very little is documented about its biology, host associations, or specific habitat preferences beyond its general occurrence in xeric regions.
